Hmmm, is the sp3000 coming in May Jason? I am hoping that it has more power still than current sp2000. Rumour is the next Sony is coming next year. The next Wm1z. What do the community want. For me just extra power still, like the m15.

Have a look at post #3642 on this thread. There is an A/B between SP2000 and N6ii (E02).

It is strange, on my experience N6ii is far behind.
The tone signature is actually too "dark","thick" lack lots of resolution and detail.

Who knows. I can’t comment as I have not heard the SP2000 so I can only go on the A/B done above so far. It is difficult to get an opinion without listening to both. I was/am interested in getting an SP2000 but I am not able to test one out at the moment. I do not want to spend £3,300 on a blind buy in case it just doesn’t suit me.

Ak has something new coming from the looks of things. I doubt it is sp3000. Maybe my guess could be sp2000m in gold. That’s the only hint on the picture. I will update once I know more.

Did the SP1000m have the same sound abilities as the Sp1000 but just in a smaller unit. Or was the M a toned down version?

My thoughts are that A&K are not going to release an M version of the SP2000 at a lot less cost if it has the full same abilities of its bigger brother. I could be wrong though.

The sp1000m is smaller but did not have the same sound capability of the original sp1000. As tried most of the m version and I had both Ss and cu of the sp1000. Waiting for the sp3k once that comes.

Agree. You have to tried and make decision.
My first SP1000(2 years ago) has come to my team after I have chance to listen to it multiple times until I can be sure that, no other dap can !

I guess this makes sense. I think the original cost of the 1000 was about $3,000 whereas the 1000m was $1,800 and so I would expect some differences.

I have heard of a small Bluetooth device. Lets see !

Some are saying that with the picture. As it has 3 holes at the bottom. Maybe represent a player that has 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm. That’s what some of the guesses have been. Still waiting as one of the shops in HK posted that picture on Facebook.

Sadly nothing yet. Should be within these few days if they are giving us a teaser. I would suggest on not buying anything until we know what it is.
