ier-z1r is low sensitivity power hungry iem with more aggressive sound. What you are hearing with +amp is how it's intended to sound. What you prefer to hear is how it sounds underpowered

I also Like the soundstage like wm1z which is also Underpowered, less aggressive.
If the sp2000 is aggressive like with amp, the price down sp1000 copper is a good choose.

First of all when you say sp1k+amp brings the sound more forward, are you referring to the whole sound stage? My complaint about the Z1R is that the low mid range is somewhat recessed and as a vocal lover I actually wanted it to be more forward. To me the SP2K is much more clear but not aggressive. It has a clean and clear feel but at the same time sound is liquid and very smooth/organic with a very quiet background. May be it is because of the quiet background it makes the vocal more stand out. If you compare the signal to noise between the sp1k and SP2K, sp2k has a much higher level (124 vs 110db).

The human brain rest in the alpha range around 10 hz when it is idling meaning when your brain is not focusing on anything or working, the moment when you start focusing on something your brain will jump into the beta range (above 15 to 18 Hz). If your work during the day requires you to think a lot, sometimes after work you may just want to idle your brain and not think of anything in particular include focusing on music. Thus your preference for non aggressive or forward type of music. But if your objective in listening to music is immersion or getting a kick out of the rhythm you need active listening and for the a more forward sound signature is needed.

I mean the whole soundstage become too aggressive with sp1k amp. My feelings is part of the soundstage is behind my head. My n6ii and most of the china dap are giving the feeling like this. this is good for some music if you want them surrounding you. But i would prefer the soundstage is in front of you face which is easily to listen the detail.
Honestly both are good but just the sp1k gave me a different soundstage and i wanna know do it be carry on sp2k

The new one need to be trained for the prime state.
In comparison to stand alone SP1000. It is better in dynamics, speed, overall speed control, attach and transient. The ss is more wide, every things is control better

The old sp1000 is more fluent and more harmonics retrieval. Times will changes the new one.
SP1000+AMP seem to be better than SP1000 much ~ SP2k (need to compare directly carefully)

I prefer neutral tonality and ultimate resolution as well as coherent sound stage.
I'm not the fan of warm and lust vocal.
Although the SP2k cooper I think is less warm and less lust presentation than SP1k Cooper. However, I definitely choose SS.

If you want relax
Put on good cooper cable. It filter out the attach transient and polish the harmonics representation.
Not my linking but it is a interesting case.
