Astell&Kern new flagship A&Ultima SP2000

I think, actually the previous naming was interpretive and slightly misleading, it made many people think of some casual enhancements, while all these "fall-offs" are pretty common for all hi-fi digital devices.

is the labeling of filters the only change?

Did the names change to something like “linear phase, fast roll-off” for “Traditional Sound”
Order is the same, name changed.

I believe the next firmware update will enable DAC filters for the SP1000/SP1000M.
Hi Jason,
Do you know if a (next) firmware is planned, in order to access to the DAC Filters ?
Thx

This is a new one when using Qobuz on my SP2000!

Tried ‘deimporting’ (Qobuz speak), switching off and on again etc. but it’s still monkeying around!
Interestingly it displays the correct album cover on the iOS app on my iPhone.

Greetings, is there any users of the copper dap users can share their methods or what tools for keeping the player in pristine condition? I am using the sp2000 copper and it started to oxide. Is there any recommendations from other users? Thank you!

I recently sold mine, and it was still in pristine condition. My 'solution' was to use a clear TPU case (from China):

Not just to keep it in good condition, but primarily because it shows the device, rather than hide it under leather. :)

Look ups/indexing going loopy on Qobuz. Wonder if it’s related to the Offline Library/imports issue. These are tracks I’m just streaming without having saved as favourites or imported.

It looks like it is trying to match on the title but nothing else.

I’d be interested if anyone has Qobuz on an Android smartphone whether the same problem occurs.

What ever you do, do not use vinegar. I would recommend getting the player covered with soft plastic. Not sure if this is the correct video from me.

shops in HK can do the plastic wrapping for about $400 HKD or less.

Confirmed having the same issue on my Android phone, but mine is showing Journey's Greatest Hits.

OMG. If my player showed any Journey album besides their first 2 records I would demand not only a full refund on the player but additional punitive financial damages !!:frowning2:
