My dealer initially told me to RMA the unit back to them (after five months??), but now they've told me to standby and Astell & Kern will contact me directly about getting it repaired. Good thing I didn't already send it back to the dealer, I guess. But I still haven't heard from Astell & Kern.

Astell & Kern sent me a FedEx label and I have shipped my SR35 to Korea to be repaired.

agreed. Expecting firmware updates for most players to be pushed out by the end of the month, but still have not received confirmation on Apple Classical on all players or Roon Arc support. I do know Apple Classical launch in Korea was pushed back, so it is still not available for testing there, which is part of the delay in support.

My guess is that it would work perfectly if they simply added it to the whitelist (along with Apple Classical). Of course, they really need to eliminate the whitelist totally and then all would be well...

Yes, it is currently being tested by the QA team on additional players besides the SP3000. Hoping for a definitive answer soon on availability on other players.

So far, I have not had any issues with it on KANN Ultra.

Does anyone know if the cases for the SR25 mk 1 and mk2 fit the SR35? I just got the SR35 and in my country it's much easier to find cases for SR25 mk 1 and mk 2. The chassis seem to be look the same for the three models so they should work, just wanted someone to confirm.

They are different. The SR35 has all buttons on the left side and the SR25 has the power button on top. It might fit size-wise, but the buttons won't line up and the top cutout won't match the plugs.

And having a case with the new SR35 buttons design isn't a good idea IMHO. I have an SR35 with case an I misstype a lot of times (i.e. back instead of screen on/off) because the very bad tactile feeling of the leather surface. Would be much better and usable with the power button somewhere else...

I also dislike the SR35's case. The side buttons on the SR15 case were easy to operate by feel alone. I can't feel the side buttons through the case on the SR35 at all.

Something like the buttons of the (overpriced) Apple leather case for iPhone would be great.
Astell and Kern one is overpriced too, but does not have even decent buttons with good feedback
