Background info are much clearer.
Is it possible that they reprogramed the ESS chips?

Touch screen stopped responding while using Tidal (side-load) and while in settings menu. This is notable since it has never happened before - ever. In 4 months of daily use. Maybe a coincidence. A hard reset reset function each time.

I updated to 1.13 and logged in to tidal but something is not right when I go to an album it only shows the first 2/3 tracks of the album is it normal?

And also randomly crashing and goes back to service menu when searching for songs.

I did a factory reset if it doesn't get fixed I'll have to say that this update didn't fix everything.

Like a PC. Just keep holding the power button until it shuts off. Really should only be used if the device is frozen.

which version of the Tidal Android app are you using?

I don't know what you mean by sideloaded tidal app?, I'm using the Tidal app that you can find inside Services, after FR on searched albums it still shows only the first 2 tracks but when I start playing the first 1/2 tracks I can see all other songs inside Play Queue, I don't know if it's an issue or not but Tidal wasn't like this before.

The way the new tidal app only shows the first two or three songs until you begin playing the album is absolutely stupid. Now there is no way to browse while you are listening. I haven't gotten to use it much but I'm going to be real pissed if the song skipping remains. That will be good by tidal time. I've started to convince myself this player is only good for playback of local files. Really hoping it works properly now because when it does I really like it. I'm starting to think that tidal will be in trouble with these other companies offering high res with no upcharge. Their software obviously sucks and now they are double the price of everybody else. Im going to try Apple music on the player and see how that goes. I get apple music for free with my phone plan. Why tidal did this 2 or three song thing is beyond me. I have noticed the song skipping seems to be tied to the downloading of the song while it is playing, when the download stalls, the song skips like it has reached the end.

@Onik or @MikeW9788 could one of you send me a pic please of what you are seeing? I do not have a KANN ALPHA at home, but the SE200 that I updated yesterday shows all the tracks of an album as I browse. I want to make sure I understand the issue you both are having. I am assuming it is a bug on the KANN ALPHA. If you cannot send me a pic, I will grab a KANN ALPHA tomorrow and check myself. I also messaged the software team about the issue.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

No, that definitely does not look correct to me. As I shared above, it displays without issue on the SE200. KANN ALPHA is running a newer version of Android than SE200, so it may be a specific issue to the Android version KANN ALPHA is running, which is why I can't replicate the issue on the SE200 . I will speak to our dev team about this.

If you can leave the screen on try to see if the skipping happens when the download doesn't keep up with the song that is playing, this is what I noticed when I was using tidal more
