Good to know. I'm looking for a good noise canceling travel option. On my last vacation/flight I brought an Audeze Maxwell and that was okay but a lot of airplane noise came in. Before that I brought an Aeon Noire and it was a bit better but without EQ that headphone is a bit too bright for my tastes.

I was really hoping the Bathys would solve that problem but without the companion app it's kind of subpar.

If you can stand the fit, Etymotic IEMs isolate noticeably better than any ANC device I have tried (Sony, Bose, Apple)...

Unfortunately none of the headphone control apps are whitelisted for any AK player. This is something that I have been discussing with the team quite often lately.

Thanks for the reply Jason. I was looking to hop up to the Kann Ultra or the SP3000 this year but it seems like the UI is getting more locked down and I need better flexibility. The Tidal app for example doesn't allow offline downloaded content so I've sideloaded my own Tidal outside of the UI on my Kann Max.

I'd love it if A&K just allowed us to use whatever we want on it.

This has been expressed by others and noted. It has been discussed a lot internally recently, but I don't have any news to share on opening things up for more apps or any app someone wants to install at the moment.

The Tidal app for example doesn't allow offline downloaded content so I've sideloaded my own Tidal outside of the UI on my Kann Max.

This is a limitation on embedded versions of Tidal that are governed by the existing contracts Tidal has with the record labels. Only the official Tidal Android or iOS apps can have offline functionality so you would need to install the full Tidal Android app on your player for offline content.

FYI, Apple Classical support will be added around February 21st for the SP3000, KANN Ultra, SP2000T, SE180, SR25 MK II, SR25.

Apple Classical support for the SE300, SR35, KANN Max, KANN Alpha, CA1000 and CA1000T will be added around February 27.

The new SanDisk 1.5TB microSD cards have been tested with the entire AK player line from current all the way back to the AK120. The QA team confirmed no issues with 1.5TB microSD cards and players.

That’s ridiculous power. On my most demanding full size headphones the most I’ve ever gone is 100 max.

Don’t know what SPL the P2’s are at but they’re probably unlistenable at that volume.

With my Heddphone One and my DCA Stealth .. Kann Alpha can be used over 120 .. with some significant distortion and some clipping .. Unfortunately, the Kann Alpha is definitely not really able to provide enough juice for low impedance and low sensitive headphones !!!
So I would say the Kann Alpha can't be used with such type of planar or AMT headphones.

Isso é um poder ridículo. Nos meus fones de ouvido de tamanho normal mais exigentes, o máximo que já usei foi 100 no máximo.

Não sei qual é o SPL dos P2, mas provavelmente eles não podem ser ouvidos nesse volume.

Installed here the new firmware V.1.50. "Working correctly". I put in quotes because the latest version of Qobuz continues to give problems when starting... It takes time to load and stutters in the first song played. After pausing, it can be used normally.
