I've just picked up a Kann Max myself. I wanted to know what people's preferences are the DAC filter. I've currently using the "Brickwall" filter. I still need to give them all a good listen to but I'm not really familiar with these so it would be good to get a little bit of a better understanding.

I use my Kaan Max more like an iPod (IEM's) so it's great for me. But now that it is 2024 and the date can not be adjusted past 2023, the Max really could use an update.

This is a known issue and will be fixed in a firmware update sometime in the next two weeks. I will update once I have the exact date. If time/date is set to automatic, it should update automatically when connected via Wi-Fi.

Jason, That's awesome news!

I have another issue that maybe you could shed some light on. I needed some screen protectors and contacted A&K and they said no problem just send them a copy of my purchase receipt and they would send me some. When I informed A&K that I purchased it second hand on ebay and the original purchaser did not provide one, they ghosted me.

I'm not looking for freebies I just wanted to purchase some screen protectors, there was an extra one in the box but I botched that install badly. So, is there a way I could purchase some replacements?

Wonderful, update carried out, previously I was having problems with the Wi-Fi taking around 10 minutes to recognize the network... As soon as I updated it recognized it very quickly.... That was my only complaint... Excellent player , I have the m15s and the Shaming H7. To my ears, Kann Max is ahead of the two in terms of audio quality, with Kan Max featuring more transparency, better soundstage, sitting in between the two. Kan Max is the one that best delivers quality and fun. Very happy....

Headphones with the best synergy so far have been the HE500/LCD3.

IEM with best IE900 synergy to date.

FYI, Apple Classical support will be added around February 21st for the SP3000, KANN Ultra, SP2000T, SE180, SR25 MK II, SR25.

Apple Classical support for the SE300, SR35, KANN Max, KANN Alpha, CA1000 and CA1000T will be added around February 27.

The new SanDisk 1.5TB microSD cards have been tested with the entire AK player line from current all the way back to the AK120. The QA team confirmed no issues with 1.5TB microSD cards and players.

Please try to add UAPP (usb audio player). Its a great player.
Is it possible to add it to the white list for Kann Max so it can be user loaded?

The latest is 1.21, which got updated through an OTA update. Maybe it's not available on the net.

The OTA was recent.

We are pushing out 22 different firmware updates for various players and accessories this month and behind on updating the website with the information.

For the latest KANN MAX firmware update:

- Fixed Roon Ready Key Play Skip issue - when screen is off and using physical buttons, tracks in Roon playback skip multiple tracks at a time
- Fixed CD-Ripping album issue when using AK CD Ripper accessory
- Revised the GUI for folder/SD card memory
- Fixed date/time setting to support years after 2023
- System stability improvements and bug fixes

There will be an additional firmware update, tentatively scheduled for next week (2/27) that will add support for Apple Classical Music app.

Updated firmware on my AK Kann Max to 1.22 and LED indicator stays Red when playing master files.
In the past, the LED indicator would turn blue. Now it just stays red. Anyone else experiencing this?
