I do not understand what you mean? You do that pusssy cat
Interesting, are you saying you used the mini xlr out plug with an adaptor that then connected headphones/iems? I was told this would work by the audio shop and by others that it would potentially destroy headphones as its line out only. I’ve used the 3.5mm jack as line out (into car and home systems) and you can’t adjust volume, its goes to max 2V, I don’t think the gain can be increased from minimum when line out is selected either.
It looks like xlr and line out are two different settings, did you use line out? what sort of volume did you get from this? Perhaps its the line out setting that bypasses the amps?
Drew from Moon Audio has a good explanation of the mini XLR out on the video he did about KANN CUBE here -
And on this chart on moon audio's website, it shows that the xlr actually have a lower output than the 2.5mm out. So the xlr out is not connected to the secondary amp? But I can still adjust the volume? This is all somewhat confusing, I wish the AK rep would clear this up.

l can plug into the xlr with the adapter and was able to change the volume on it with my IEM.
on cable controls will not work. I think the OP was referring to using the volume knob on KC.No matter what headphones I use, none of them seem to be able to change the volume or send next track/previous track signals. I thought all of this was ignored by the Cube?

In general, it is not good to wet DAPs at all, with any kind of liquid...that is why the manual says so. Just like a cell phone, there is a lot of potential for any kind of liquid, including water, to get inside the device and go where it is not supposed to go, and potentially cause a short. Or, you may cause cosmetic damage on the outside. What is recommended to clean the Cube’s front (display) and also the back of the device? Soap and water? Rubbing alcohol? Sorry, couldn’t find this information in the manual.
On pg. 53: “Do not let chemicals or detergents come in contact with the product since they may damage the surface and paint.”
Thank you
