Oh dear, let me guess £3,800, looks like the pricing in portable audio is becoming 
as daft as home stereo prices are now.
 
If I was an AK240 owner I'd be miffed.

Different housing slightly larger, longer battery playback and 1024 GB internal memory,me thinks and don't believe AK240 is better than Lotoo Paw Gold.

The question is: if people are happy with Tera,AK240 SS, how much better things can be?
I am talking purely about sound quality, isn't there a limit even with unlimited resources?
Even if the whole chassis is gold plated don't think that will help much!

Well, look at the Hugo Chord. Even if the line up of AK's is good, Hugo imo is better so maybe AK is stepping up to the competitions sound quality…...

Obviously, the Chord is not a DAP, i.e., you still need a source, to be connected to the Chord by a digital cable.  A two chassis portable player is not everyone's idea of a desireable device.
