Color me interested. I'm going to Munich this May if everything goes well, so might check em up.

And found the pics of it on a Japanese blog. You guys love pics
They look damn beautiful, okay. If they sound transparent enough then I might not need an amp for it,

Look at damn thickness. So sexy. Perfect for my summer

I think I'll be saving up for it,
But then there's the ak120 and 240,

Would this actually be good at using with my Marrantz to try and get a warmer sound without buying new speakers (for now)?

does it have a line out to amp it

Unfortunately not.
That's why if it sounds transparent enough, I won't bother to use an amp.
But maybe it's cool if it could be paired with portable DAC/amp through USB OTG

That's one slim & sexy player.  64gb internal + 64gb expandable is plenty for my needs. Hmmmmm......

Yup 64+64 is enough for me too but some people want 64+128
They must have a helluva collection of music to listen to when outside

C'mon, anything is comparable.

I can compare a compact car to a school bus.
Some folk need to park in tight spaces while getting this weeks groceries.
Some folk need to transport 30 kids to school.
And some people need both vehicles.

If all I've driven is my bus, and I'm considering buying a compact car to compliment it, then maybe a comparison to it is exactly what I need as it's my only frame of reference.

These devices may differ greatly in one metric or another, but they can still be usefully compared, it might just not be a useful comparison to you.
