Yes I am currently wrestling with the idea of preordering it. I really liked what I heard at CanJam NYC. Lush/analogue mids that really had some excellent vocal reproduction but I felt I should have spent more time on it and compared the solid-state mode to SP3000. I will think it over and see what to do. I am currently DAPless since acquiring the Lotoo Mjolnir so the SP3000T could be a good and complementary portable option.

Maybe I will hold out for reviews, but I can't remember the last AK Ultima product I didn't pre order

I'm considering getting this. Question for existing A&K owners: does the use streaming apps like Apple Music get compromised in any way or is it utilizing all the capabiltiies of the hardware?

With the Lotoo Mjolnir and the SP3000T both on my wishlist as well, I cannot help but thinking that there has to be some forced reconsideration and consolidation in my near future ... Perhaps it really is time to say goodbye to a number of devices

I'm thinking about the 3000T as a center piece for a mobile setup with either trifectas, ravens or novus (but the price ><) using the solid state amps, and a super compact desktop solution at home with a pair of calderas or atriums with tubes engaged; does that make sense? With the calderas or atriums, would the SP3000T be enough to drive these cans to their full potential?

The perfect remedy for the Monday blues SP3000T impressed me quite a bit at CanJam NYC, and now that its here at Bloom for more intimate listening sessions, I've only grown to love it more. I demo’d this at CanJam w the NOVUS and my own set of IEMs, I was too lazy to load my own music on it via Spotify so I played one of the pre loaded tracks. Miley Cyrus - Flowers was what I chose as I know Miley’s voice fairly well. The tube mode on SP3000T rendered her voice so so well. It captured that slightly thick, deep, husky character she has that makes her sound so unique. The mid range timbre was excellent.

I didn’t get to spend enough time with the other modes but it did leave an impression on me regardless. Hopefully I can spend more time with it.

I thought female vocals sounded excellent on the SP3000T as well! Very natural and well articulated.

Bitrate yes, I think this is a default feature on all new AK device now... but which device shows volume level?
