Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000

(This level of sound quality, supports streaming, and has zero latency in USB DAC mode.)

I'm a bit concerned that @JasonNYC hasn't shown up in the thread for a week to either confirm or dispel the rumors about A&K shutting down. I really hope it's not true

According to rumors, they are definitely not shutting down. However, hardware design will no longer be handled by their Korea office, and UI design will be managed by Hiby. Again, these are just rumors....Hope this will not happen....

Nah mate I have both and the dx340 is much more sterile.

Also the ibasso is not Roon ready.

No, Astell&Kern is not shutting down and no, nothing AK is being managed by Hiby in the future. I understand a lot of the rumors posted here are jokes and people trying to be funny, but it is not helpful and definitely off-topic for this thread.

Our offices are closed May 1 - 6 for 3 national holidays in Korea and will reopen on May 7. There will be a delay in response from global support during this time and again does not mean AK is out of business.
