The UI looks the same, but it's working pretty flawlessly, from streaming to just not being laggy.

Not exactly, but pretty close. Of course, there are many more choices in Settings than the Sr15, but the look and feel are the same, except the KM has no lag where the SR15 did.

That’s my thing, on the SP3000, for all the advancements and improvements, the UI seems to be far more laggy than my previous A&K players.

This is useful (compile a list), but in my opinion it is up to AK to provide an interface for customers to officially publish issues.

There are platforms for this that AK should use:
- UserVoice
- Nolt.io
- Monday
- GitHub
- etc...

Hello,

So far I really enjoy listening to sp3000 with my top iems.

But these iems are really sensitive (64 audio blanc and fir audio xenon 6) and so are my ears.
So at night volume at 1 is too much for me (using asymmetric cables is part of a solution but it's still too loud and affect the quality).

Why didn't AK put a low gain mode like on so many other dap they've made is beyond me.
I hope it will come in a new FW.

Anybody using their SP3000 with the C9 amp? What are your thoughts?

C9 pre mode, SS timbre. Use this bcos EXT shines with extra juice. Tonality wise, SP3K is damn good by itself.

It’s a good match, I prefer listening with the C9 than without. I like the C9 in Timbre (tube) setting at AB class.

It is beyond me why Astell &Kern won't let us reduce/remove animation transitions.

The hardware is modern enough- this is the first thing I do on my Android devices as it makes everything feel snappier in an instant...

@JasonNYC would love a comment. Also, where are we with the fixes for Roon ARC ie having no 44.1 kHz cap.

I can appreciate this is probably in Roon's court but would be good what improvements, if any, are generally in the works.

The software would also benefit from some optimization based on the feedback provided too...
