I don't think there are plans to offer for purchase separately, as I believe only a exact amount were produced to match the production run of the gold version, with only a few extras in case of need for warranty replacement. Let me confirm with the HQ team.

I would also be a customer for the alternative colored cases. Jason, I get that there were limits to the oem colored 3000. But why don’t we have alternatives for customers who have purchased 3000 ? I bought the black but would love others.

Regarding additional case colors, I was told last night that there is currently no plans to sell the orange case that comes with the SP3000 Gold separately, but if you are interested in possibly purchasing one if there were a few available to please contact AK's global support at astellnkern@astellnkern.com and inquire about it. If other colors/options become available for purchase, they will contact you. This will also help gauge interest in possibly releasing additional case options. In the past, since the A&ultima series comes with a case, we usually sell very little of other color cases, but if there was interest, it could be a possibility that some be produced.

Anyone here having problem during music playback with large files? I'm talking about >300mb size.
It seems like the device won't read the file fast enough and playing static instead.
I'm using 1TB sandisk extreme pro btw.

-already formatted from SP3k with FAT32 (erase content from device)
-The file in problem is 24bit 192khz with average 350-410mb per tracks

With what device do you have the Bluetooth connection and does the file play perfectly when you listen to phones/IEMs connected by wire?

What is your folks toughts about the DAR ?i read that some dont notice the diference , for me the sound diference is clear has water, some iems need it others is to much, for instance it transforms for better the ierz1r but with cascara with some songs is to much, when DAR is on all the sound gains more power and presence, is very similar to when you turn turbo or P+ in other daps, the effect is near the same IMO, i think the upscaling is the name that AK choose for that , but is not just that

DSD is more laid back, holographic with circumferential soundstage. I find it sounds closer to ‘off’ in natural timbre but as you say, has more presence.

I haven’t done an extensive test to see if the track quality also affects the results. It got to the point I changed my mind which I preferred depending on mood, track, IEM and so many variables it did my head in. Sometimes having options not always a good thing.

For the moment, I prefer DSD.

I play pggb wav files (many gb) at 768k 24b from sd card without any issues

Yes I understand that but you replied to KupingManja and he is experiencing the problem mostly when he connects his SP3K by Bluetooth to whatever transducer he is using. So this sounds more like a Bluetooth issue and 192Khz files than anything to do with the SP3K. But it’s nice to know that the SP3K has no playback issues with pggb files. I’m presuming you use multiple 1Tb or 2Tb SD cards? A&K do warn about repeated mounting and dis-mounting of memory cards but again I’m guessing you haven’t experienced any issues so far?
