IMHO Fir Audio Rdn6 is absolutely amazing. Great bass, huge scene and very organic.

The Austrian Audio Composer is coming out in 1-2 weeks. I would wait for that. It has high sensitivity and very good feedback.

Ever since I've returned the Sp3000, I have to say I do miss it. It is the only DAP I tried where the performance of 3.5mm and 4.4mm was identical. You really did not miss on anything if you listen out of 3.5mm.
That is quiet important feature for IEM like FW1000 where they sound best single ended, with stock cable.

Every version of the SP3K is special. Materials used, visual appearance, sound, build quality, stability and power. It's a great device.


I have a question to @JasonNYC - when connecting the SP3000 to my Mac via USB-C, the LED lights in red even if I play MQA / FLAC 24Bit etc. (Midi settings manually to 32bit or automatically set by LosslessSwitcher). Tried with Music app, Tidal.

Is this "works as intended" because the audio stream will not be reflected to the LED color in DAC mode or did I miss something?

Another question, will you enable Apple Music Classical anytime soon? I tried to sideload it but it wasn't possible.

Agreed. The RN6 is unbelievably good. Even more so in use with the PA10 amp.
