Digital Audio Remaster is like an upscaling. I haven't noticed much on my lossless tracks but it is a little more apparent on lower bit tracks. To my ears, flip a coin. Try it and see if you can tell a difference.

It’s a system-wide upsampling (except MQA which will upsample x16 by default).
Upsampling is the process of creating intermediate data points (usually weighted on previous and following data), so it can result in better transients and resolution.

Thank you, so It's not just like if you try to upscale an SD movie to HD but there is more magic involved.
I updated my SP3000 & Apps yesterday, everything went smoothly.
First reboot was slow, possibly re-indexing or making modifications to the internal databases.
Subsequent power on's afterwards, perhaps 10-15 seconds longer than normal (50 seconds) now 65 seconds.
Internal storage: 31.5GB System, 29.8GB Data, 188.6GB Free.
SD storage: 228.6GB Data, 247.9GB Free.
It's been rock solid ever since.

I’ve just started to use my A&K CD Ripper Mk2 to transfer music to the DAP. I want to transfer the music to an SD card though rather than the hard drive but I can’t find how I select SD card as the desired location. Does anyone know how to do this?
Edit: I’ve found out how to move ripped files from internal storage to the SD card, but I still can’t see how to make the SD card the default location.

I would not recommend the SP3000 for difficult to drive headphones. It may have the volume but will lack the authority to drive them.

My dap drains 10% of the battery for 7-8 hours in sleep mode.
I've noticed that setting of sleep timer is "always turn on", even if i set to "30 minutes" for example.
Everytime when i go to settings of sleep timer it is "always turn on".
