Hi JasonNYC! First, this DAP sounds absoultely fantastic!! Sometimes it cuts out one channel (AKM and ESS-Output) and I've to pause the player and touch the play button again..and everything is back to normal. I hope it's a (early) firmware issue and not a hardware problem...Regards!

Does anyone have any information on if you're able to listen to 2 different headphones/IEMs at the same time? How would that effect the power going to each - would they both be drawing less power due to shared source then if one headphones/IEM was plugged in?

I've never been the A&K route and I generally want full android DAP, I'm wondering how this DAP might be and what the limitations are on an A&K dap not being full android. You can only run allowed music apps?

There are ways to side load apps like MXPlayer where you can watch videos on the AK player.

Probably not, one circuit would shut down when it detects a plug in the other.

Quick comparison of AKM vs ESS output.

AKM sounds smoother while ESS is brighter. AKM soundstage is more balanced while ESS is slightly laidback. IMO AKM is better for neutral IEM and ESS for warmer IEM. AKM output is slightly higher than ESS as expected (ex. volume 70 vs 77).

n6ii e02 is said to be an N8 killer, while this seems like it'll be an sp2000 killer.

the new wave of daps really does damage the big giants at half the price, as a happy owner of the n6ii e02 i really do wonder what are the possibilities of this double dacced dap
