I've been listening to Dynamic Duo ever since they were featured in EpikHigh's early albums XD. I'll check out "dickpunks" lol.

Why is it so hard to find Korean music? It'd be nice if there was a Korean CD site equivalent to http://www.ethaicd.com. H Mart usually only gets in so much. And when the older lady runs the music/book store she has no idea about modern Kpop :p

I'm tired of dl'ing 480P/HD youtube videos and demuxing the audio out of them. No music should ever be that difficult to find

try http://www.mnet.com
they have EVERY SINGLE korean song (for a price)
all are in 320kb/s (no flac)

but the downside is. It's hard to make an account (or more correctly, it's tiring) - and the website is in korean...

I don't know much about asian traditionnal music but i guess it would be like making a thread named "European music (French,German,Britain)" so that is pretty dumb

you can't have european music without finland, sweden, and norway.

Though not nearly as popular as the other Asian pop genres, I mainly listen to C-Pop (both Cantopop and Mandopop). As you can probably tell...or not, I tend to favor the female artists, hence why I'm looking for a pair of closed, foldable headphones that go well with female vocals and have decent bass.

Audiophile grade acoustic (mostly) vocal Japanese pop: Kobukuro, a male duo.

choose 1080p

A lot of their songs tend to sound similar, but I can put all of their albums on auto play and chill out. Love their voices, love their pacing, love the recording quality. It's tastefully simple and high quality all around.

I listen to a lot of Kpop/Jpop, but when I need to cure my asian audiophile needs it comes back to Kobukuro.

They even sound amazing live so it's all real talent, not studio magic.

Enjoyed it even though its in mono sound. Another overlooked area is Korean rock. Cloud9's pretty good:

starts 19 seconds in

This was surprisingly excellent. The high voice would take some getting used to, but everything else is superb!

I don't know the title, but it's about Kim Jong-Il.
For a way-beyond-FUBAR country, I find their propaganda songs the most epic things I have ever listened to. Yes, above Raid of the Valkyries, Candide Overture and! Rakoczy March.

Sorry.  I just can't can't stop laughing.  Its simultaneously drop dead hilarious and soul-crushingly depressing...

Instead of having an old man doing monologues, the Combine should have really assimilated some of the Earth's communist propaganda and broadcast their pwn versions of these songs. It would be much more effective. See how North Koreans are all "happy"? (Massive sarcasm quotes)
Seriously though, what I said was not a joke. Still, it can't wake you up as effectively as the good old Reveille.
