+1 for this!A comparison... when you've listened to them well we wouldn't mind...![]()
I would add: with a better cable?
Does it support USB? I mean can I run it wired as well alongside BT? My unit will arrive this week hopefullyAir dac is very pocketable dac/amp, pretty small and light.
It can drive very well all IEMs I’ve at the moment and matches very very well with Neo and Jam!
I add some pics to show it in my hands and compared to some of my daps.
Works very very well in BT and imho sounds more natural than Gryphon I had.
It’s a great solution in the go, even better than a dongle because you can forget it in your pocket and listen music connected in LDAC to your smartphone.
It’s one of the best Sabre implementation ever listened and worth every cent spent.
If you’re looking for a colored sound, it’s not your cup of tea.
Air has a natural tuning, not warm or cold, it’s natural.

Sorry for late answer but i didn't try it in USB mode, i only used it as bluetooth dac.Does it support USB? I mean can I run it wired as well alongside BT? My unit will arrive this week hopefully
Thanks for your response. Just received my unit this morning. Its a quirky one with some basic features missing (No USB audio and play pause button) but sounds great. Sonically much better than mediocre BTR7. My unit has crackle/pop in the left chanel whenever I turn the device off with headphones plugged in. Also range is poor (but serviceable)Sorry for late answer but i didn't try it in USB mode, i only used it as bluetooth dac.
When i'll be at home i'll try it.
