I own the Final Audio Piano Forte VIII. I absolutely love them. I have searched here and online to see if there are sonic characteristic differences between the Piano Forte VIII, IX and X. My search has not yielded any enlightenment.
 
Is there anyone here that has experienice with them and can tell if there are any differences beyond the fit and finish of these earphones?

While I haven't had a chance to listen to final's Piano Forte VIII, IX and X, you can check out @Kiats review of the Piano Forte X here. I'll keep an eye out for reviews on these, and hopefully someone who has had more experience with the final IEMs can chime in.

I've tried the VIII and X briefly. Plugged into the ifi iDSD& iCan SE stacks.
The PFX are better refined. A slight step up from VIII and their signature are almost the same;
Laid back, lows are full bodied, highs slightly rolled off and lacking details. VIII sounded a little edgier.
The 'air' and instrument separation weren't that natural to my ears for both.
Very musical and pleasant though. I will demo again soon...
