Are there any builders of something inexpensive like the SOHA or the Millet Hybrid around here that are doing commissions? =)

I'm somewhat interested in building a SOHA myself but I have no way to do casework without spending money on tools.

in terms of sound quality, can anyone differentiate the SOHA and the Millet Max for me when paired with Grados?

is the Millet Max a noticeable step up? or are there better solid state DIY options for Grados?

Yes you can tell quite a difference, both amps are great and fantastic bang/buck, can't really go wrong with either.
