Most I have tried don't come close simple! The way ZMF dominates in headphones because they are well researched and built with real understanding of audio is the same way Arctic builds cables, they truly understand audio cables.
I was strongly considering grabbing a grand silver cable from lavricable because of the price but you speaking this highly of the arctic cables makes me want to take out a small loan for one😅. I just put in an order for a 2022 utopia so maybe its worth going all in on an insane cable to get the most performance. Wallets gonna hate me😭

I had a Grand silver cable from Lavricables with me for the Composer. Doesn’t even come close to the sound of the Aeris from Arctic cables!! So you definitely made the right decision 🤟👌

Hi Moki, greeting to you. Lavricables silver cannot come close to what you had mentioned in terms in what you want the sonics to be. (but still can be acceptable in generally, better than the stock one). I have used Lavricables, Toxics with also silver dragon from moon audio, none of it come close to Aries as recommended by one of the member to you. If you're truly look into Arcticcables, you actually could drop them an email for further advise base on the sonics signature you want. They are very very helpful and knowledgeable. Ask for Roy. He is the one that advise me thru out my purchased and I am a very happy owner to their cables. Anyway, happy hunting with more patience. Wish you have a Good day with your music listening session.

So i ended purchasing an opera v2 its just not terminated with what i need but i plan on sending it in once it arrives. Not sure if that ones better or worse than the aries though. I was able to buy it at $650 so not sure if thats a good price for it but from the pics it does look to be a really nice looking cable and did come out a bit cheaper than if id gone with the 8 core lavri so figured it was worth the hassle of sending it out for retermination

The opera V2 is a very good cable. It's sonics signature is balance in between Aurelia and Euphoria, clear imaging with deep extension. Anyway, it may be well sudjected to what your preference of sonics signature at the end. And 650 USD is a good buy for it. You can write to Arcticcables for the termination change if they haven't send out the cable.

Just got the cable in and it looks and feels great. Quick question though, i notice the cable is slightly thinner after the splitter thing going all the way up to the 3.5mm connections. I imagine thats so it can properly fit into the aeco 3.5mms but was wondering if this applies to all the connections they offer? Like is there any way to keep the same thickness throughout the whole cable or is it normal for it to be thinner after the splitter?

that looks like an 8w cable. so after the splitter it sends 4 wires to each connector.

Indeed, 8w into 4w. Perfectly normal. And ergonomically much eaiser in actual use.

Yes, it is normal. Main cable from the amp plug is thicker and cable from splitter to headphone plug will be thinner.

In case anyone is contemplating about buying the Aeris, I am selling mine to fund an Arctic Cables flagship cable! As you can read in the link below, I would also throw in two Romi Audio cables for the Composer for free:
https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/arctic-cables-aeris-for-austrian-audio-composer.88891/
As you know the Aeris can be reterminated for free, it wouldn´t be problem for me to send my cable directly to Arctic Cables in order to change the headphone plugs (did that in the past too with a buyer). Just send me a DM for further infos.

I received two sets of cables from Arctic this week. Each set has one 5' for my desk and one 8.2' to reach my lounge chair. Aegis and Talos V2. Beautiful cables and top notch craftsmanship.

I also think they have the most user friendly website of the ones I've visited.

Received my new Define this morning for my Senny 6xx/580. Like my Aegis for my 800s, I opted for a Neutrik NP3RX-B, 90 degree 1/4” termination to use with my BHC.
