aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

So, I just received BT-W6. It works and fits even with the phone case on(Pixel 9 Pro /w Bellroy case).

The struggle I'm facing:
Once I start playing music and my phone happens to make any other sound, e.g., a notification, sending a message, taking a screenshot, or receiving a message it cuts off the music and stays silent.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this. Setting the notification sound to 0 doesn't help. Did anyone else face this issue?

//Update: Now it seems to be working incl. other sounds!

What have I done:
I've set the volume to 0 via Bose QC Ultra(Headphones) controls, unplugged BTW-W6 and plugged it in once again. I'll keep you updated in case anyone else would be running the same setup.

The Eppfun AK3040ProMax adapter is working great with the Stax Spirit S5 so far. Playing at aptX Lossless with no lag at all.

I think I'll just stick with the Eppfun AK3040ProMax adapter and use the upcoming NW-A306 as a USB DAC. After a bit of ignorance, but I see its proper use and I think it can be a proper substitute to output LDAC off my PC to it and use the Stax S5 or XM5. I'll not get the FiiO BT11 even though it was something I wanted on my list.

Can you not update your Laptops BT/WIFI card to a newer model and it can then handle aptX HD/aptX LL and LDAC (in addition to what Windows natively supports) via the 3rd Party Alt AD2P Driver?

Interesting idea, I don't think there is a wifi/BT m.2 card with support for the better/newer aptX variants, we may be stuck on USB adapters for now. I would be very happy if proven wrong though.

LDAC is supported on any hardware I think. I have it on my Windows desktop via the alternative driver and on my Linux laptop via pipewire, no problems at all there either.

The BT/WIFI card does not have the codecs, Windows does them via software, my reply was to the guy above who's last few posts states he is on BT4.0 and no doubt it will not be strong enough for LDAC if that old it may act up via the Alt AD2P Driver with LDAC and he states as much on his webpage.

He added LDAC/aptX HD/aptX LL after I requested those as they became free to use, he had added aptX previously and AAC also (you can tweak them unlike natively in Windows.

Last I spoke to him I asked about aptX Adaptive (licence cost is the issue) and I will get back to him to try again and also request LHDCv5 if possible.

That's interesting, I did not know QC is willing to actually license the codec, I thought they just implement it in their chips.

LDAC comes in completely muffled. It hardly works. I got the Eppfun for the aptX lossless which I found very consistent and at its peak. I tested the LDAC on the Walkman as a DAC and it came out as a solid signal. So, I think that’s the safest way to experience LDAC off my PC for the time being.

Emailed AD2P, with request for Aptx adaptive (high/low), aptx lossless and LHDCv5 support.

I think even if its an extra cost, many would buy it especially us lot around here.

Sorry for bringing bad news... I'm not sure email could help. There's clear statement in their FAQ that they have no plans to extend supported codec list.

Yes, might be worthwhile... By the way, did you notice in that FAQ there's a known issue with Stax Spirit S5. Workaround is to not use multipoint

Yup thx did spot that, its good his faq is that up to date since most wouldn't bother or have that info.

I always leave multi-point off due to past BT connectivity issues, the Stax S5 app does oddly warn to switch multi-point off, if using the higher bandwidth BT codecs because as you know we only have 1 single BT device in the world to connect to....
