Nothing Ear do not have the aptX family of Codecs so no real benefit to connect to the Creative Dongle (possibly better signal/range) and it will be SBC only and you need to connect via aptX Adaptive to get its LL mode or the newer LE setting on the BT-W6.

Just got the EPPFUN AK3040 Pro Max and it seems to have the best stability of the dongles so far.
The only problem is that it is abnormally quiet on the PS5. Works fine on any other device inclucing switch or my ipad.
Maybe its a firmware problem, but i can only download the latest one on their website (V3).
Has someone still saved the V2 one and can share that one? Or does anyone may even know a different fix?
Or is it about it needing USB C Power delivery? then again they actually advertise usage of it for the PS5.
@Kokorolo is there an app for the EPPFUN AK3040 Pro Max adapter?

Quick update:

All of the Bose Ultra products support aptX Lossless. I have purchased all 3 and tested them myself.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds
Bose Ultra Open Earbuds

The Creative BT-W6 & FlooGoo FMA120 USB adapters both support up to 24bit/96kHz aptX Lossless on Windows 10 & 11, but it can become a little choppy if conditions are not perfect. Dropping it to 48kHz improves things quite a bit.

Since there is no way to see what the Fiio BT11 outputs, I'm hoping it passes thru the native bitrate, using ALAC & Apple Music.

Lastly, the Denon PerL Pro True Wireless Earbuds support aptX Lossless as well.

I would like to try the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 next.

Hmm I know here was talk about it but we are hardly at 44.1k with a few devices (phones) now supporting 48k and I do not know for sure if mine does (Edge 50 Ultra).

On my phone if you change anything even the audio files from 16/44.1 to 24bit 48k/96k/192k it drops Lossless back to Adaptive as it should but on the PC with Creative & FiiO Dongles it does not seem to care so not sure what is going on and what is right and what is wrong but woudl seem some down-sampling is going on.

Does your phone list aptX Lossless under developer options, or just aptX Adaptive?

No phones list aptX Lossless AFAIK as it is part of aptX Adaptive (R3 or whatever term they now call it).

aptX Adaptive on the phones has no 16bit option and only 48k and 96k appear as choices unless you are in Lossless Mode then 44.1k appears.

Remember QUALCOOM claims the 16/44.1 stream is still really 16/44.1 but it is encapsulated in the 24/44.1 stream (Gods know why, may have to do with bandwidth).

So if you are able to manually change developer options to 16bit & 44.1kHz then that means that you are in Lossless mode?

No there is never any 16bit option for aptX Adaptive (including Lossless) in Dev Options (easier to see in the BCC App).

Adaptive will change and unhide it automatically to 24/44.1 when you play a 16/44.1k audio file on a supported devices (ear/headphones).
