I always forget that before the 6th Gen they were called iPod Video. And that before the 5th (I think) it was just iPod. Anyways, NOW it is the Classic. The guy who sells it has a 100% positive feedback, like 593 "points" (?), and has been on Ebay since 99'. You should check him out, he has the U2 Edition 5.5 with a 160GB HDD! For $375, and many more amazing deals.

Love OS X. Macports are a godsend. Just a really solid OS internally. Just everything about it screams commercial BSD done right...because it is commerical BSD done right. The terminal experience is way nicer and stock/integrated than Cygwin/W7.

Also very pretty and yes pretty is a function in this case because pretty in the case implies nicely integrated design elements (glorious fonts, glorious toolsets, just a glorious GUI-y). It's just very pretty. Did I mention pretty?

I get the arguments against hardware but can't deny the nice work done on the OS.

Pretty big Apple fan here. Owned half a dozen iPods and over a dozen Macs. I am on my 2011 MBP right now and sitting on an old G4 quicksilver that I use for a desk chair. I triple boot on my MBP snow leopard, lion, and Windows 7. I have always loved Mac operating systems, been using them since OS8. Yes my Windows gaming rig smokes my Macs in most comparisons, but I have yet to find a Windows laptop that I like as much as any of my PowerBooks, or MacBook Pros.
