I ended up only $400 in the hole this year from audio purchases (not including vinyl). I think I didn't do too bad. 2008 was more like $2k.

Anyone getting out alive? That is, spending $0 on the year?

Actually on second thought, I may have purchased a couple 1/4" - 1/4" mono cables for my guitar...

CDs are always on the agenda, even if toys are not.

I thought the OP was for those who did *not* spend money in 2009??

And of course I am just as guilty for spending way too much this year!

Ignoring music (obviously) I think, THINK, I came away free and clear from 2009. New iPhone yesterday really doesn't count, and my most recent audio gear purchase was my portapros, which I think I've had for longer than a year.

2010 is going to be expensive though, I fear. I am inheriting a turntable, which will need TLC to get to a good standard. Various rubber bushes at the VERY LEAST, maybe a new cart, records, brushes, etc etc etc...
