Finally found one of these (they're real hard to find). Bought to be able to play bass / while listen to .mp3 via HD650's. Built like the proverbial tank and everything works fine EXCEPT the Mix-In.
With the source audio component nearly maxxed out on volume, you can hear it ever so slightly thru the phones. The Mix L&R seem to have no effect on this level, although switching from mono to stereo on the Mix-In - I can hear the switching. Originally, I thought it may be phase cancelling - but have since tried many cable combinations and sources with no difference.
Anyone on head-fi have one of these amps that may know what the problem could be (or who might have a schematic)? Is there a special cable that has to be used for the Mix-In input?
