Just picked up the zune 80 gigs from future shop here in toronto.

Didnt expect to pick up a microsoft product and like it as well but i would seriously say the Zune has over impressed me to think that the product is pretty under-advertised (atleast in Canada)

The player itself is loud and pretty clear too and the in-ear phones that came with it do it justice too although i'm not a fan of in-ear phones so i use my DT-250 pro-headphones with it.

Does anyone know how often firmwares get updated?

just keep your eye open for the next firmware around Oct or Nov. of this year.

Another Zune 80 owner here, with full body IS and triple.fi's and very happy with it.

How is the battery better when everything but the drive is the same? Unless the firmware helps that or something.

Also, glossy black? Yuck. Glad I have my 80.

Zune30 owner here, is it me or does it sound good?

It's not the best sounding mp3 player out there but not the worst either. Maybe I'm just getting too used to it
