Any success in converting?

I'm working on my girlfriend, at the moment she calls them ugly, and says the amp defets the purpose of an Ipod. I pointed out that an ipod is to enjoy music, only got me a "stop being a smart ass" look. But oh well.

I got converted jointly by Binkgle and Hembergler, into buying MS-1s and KSC-75s.
(Though, both of them warned me to stay away from this site like the plague.
I didn't listen.)

I converted my Brother, who now owns HD600's, DT770's, a Headroom Airhead and a Grado headphone amp.

My dad was looking at some Sony noise cancelling earbuds, but I convinced him to go the ER-6i route!

K701+iPod combo for the win!
No need for amp, and you get the stylish matching K701s too

I got the chance to try out the 701s yesterday and I was really suprised. I expected them to be"dead" if that makes any since. But I liked them, female vocals were really nice, and acoustic was really nice. I didnt listen from the Ipod directly tho, totaly forgot.

Thats why I think that KSC75s are prob the only thing I will be able to convert people to.

I managed to get someone to buy the KSC75s. One friend already used HD212s, and another knows alot about his music, and I've told him about headphones and stuff. He said he's gonna get the EP630s next time around, because he doesn't want to spend more than $30 on his phones, and he only uses IEM's. He's using the koss plug now.

It's a good thing your pets stay away from your headphones.

I also bought good headphones for my kids, not sure if this is converting them or not. My son uses Beyer Dt231's and my daughter AT M30's.
