i'm (not me personally) looking for any alternative to Skullcandy in terms of design. can you think of any?

Ultrasone has good looks and sound worlds better than any skullcandy.

although the ES7's look fake to me. i can't believe they're going that cheap!

Look at the Audio Technica line - stylish to say the least - and sound very good!

At the other end of the spectrum, I think Grados are pretty cool looking in a retro kind of way.

Those are fakes - stay away from them! I got a set of fakes from ebay and they looked just like that. They sound horrible!
