Any love for the Activo CT10?

Thank you. This thread helped me decide to buy the Activo ct10. It’s the the first DAP that I’ve bought since an IPod Nano. I am really enjoying the Activo. I upgraded headphones for a better experience. The blue tooth for my Jabra Elite 65T would cut out (happens on my Galaxy S8, too) and the sound was, of course, thin. Much better were the Sony 1000xm2. But the Astell and Kern Billie Jean IEMs arrived yesterday. These sound great. Paired with Activo CT10, I now remember how good music can sound and just how enjoyable listening to music is.

Can I use a 512 MB with the activo c10? I think I can, but I remember the specs saying something about 400 MB max.
1TB microSD cards will be officially supported on the CT10 after the new firmware update expected to be pushed out next week.

Only one question: Is Deezer still in the list of open app?

Thank you in advance for the answer.

Sadly, my Activo’s headphone jack stopped working. It started to make a random shorting out sound. I thought it was a damaged headphone cable, but it was not. Then, it stopped putting out sound all together. The Bluetooth still outputs. Unit is dead after a week. Luckily, I purchased from Amazon, so not too much of a hassle to get a replacement. Hope the new unit lasts a bit longer. But, I am concerned with build quality.

anyone running the JH Billie Jean IEM with the Activo CT-10?
Any suggestions for a comparable IEM or is the match up to get the best tailored experience?

After a few days I've slowly (though not completely) warmed up to the new tuning. The update provided massive vocal clarity that can be overwhelming especially if you have bright sounding headphones/iems. Sets that are Balanced Armature only and gear that is already treble focused is difficult to enjoy after the update, however, dark sounding gear or anything bass heavy sound fantastic. My main gripe is that when vocals are playing it is difficult to focus on anything but the vocals. The soundstage shrunk and the ability to hear subtle nuances like the plucking of guitar strings is completely overwhelmed by the vocals which are now not just front and center, but are INSIDE your head. It is a weird sensation especially coming from the flawless tuning prior to the update. I am not at selling point yet, but hopefully an Activo rep reads this thread and they are able to revert to a more balanced sound signature.

I recently bought an Activo CT10 primarily for when I am out with the dog.
However I am pleasantly surprised how good it is at home with my old Shure 846. The dlna function with my NAS actually works better than my SP1000. Wifi on my SP1000 is pretty awful with very limited range.
Ok it isn't as good as SP1000 with KSE1200 but its very good value and quite fun for just 209 pounds
