Saya no Uta! Currently playing through that. Heard Clannad & Clannad After Story to be great. A drug that makes you dream? Never heard of that one before. Mind telling me (roughly) what it is about?

I haven't personally played it, just got a recommendation for it by the VN master...

Yandere is the term. :p

Saya no Uta is a game you shouldn't play when you're eating.

I know... :D I finished it, I didn't really like the ending since

HE LEFT HIS PERFECT LITTLE HAPPY LAND FOR A CRAZY STALKER PERSON WHO TRIED TO KILL HIM!!!

Also, this.

Yeah DEEN butchered Fate/Stay Night. Saya no Uta is written by Gen Urobuchi right? I like his depression filled works

Correct. Did you know madoka magica was also written by him?

Yeah, and since it's a VN it's a lot more graphic than anime which are aired on TV.

Oh yes... For better and worse, saya is a good example of this...
I might actually pick up the game when it's released uncensored in the U.S, it's been on preorder for a long time at all the retailers though... Also, too bad the soundtrack starts out at $80, since it's simply marvelous IMO.

Also, I started code geass last night... not sure if I wanna finish up Lucy star first or continue on with CG... :/

Yes. Urobuchi Gen wrote Saya no Uta, Fate/Zero (with Nasu Kinoko's direction), Madoka Magica, Phantom Inferno and many others that I've watched/played. Watch Code Geass too. Highly recommended for its plot complexity and overall storyline. I'm waiting for Typemoon releases (Kara No Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin, Mahoutsukai no Yoru English translation by Commie among many others) and oh the BD for typemoon 10th anniversary /fanboy

Gunslinger Girl.

Heard quite alot of good things from people with regards to that anime. Will give it a shot (no pun intended). What about "The Ghost in the Shell"?

10/10 must watch. Seriously, my favorite anime ever.
As was already stated, there isn't really any focus on girls. The movies are more heavy and philosophical
Especially the second one, probably half of its dialogues are quotes: from Bible to philosophical works.

while the series  are kinda lighter, more of a "police show". Still, it's Ghost In The Shell, it can't be fully nice & easy.

Doesn't look like $80 to me. Buy it. http://www.amazon.co.jp/沙耶の唄-オリジナルサウンドトラック-ゲームミュージック/dp/B00030DKKE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1354045237&sr=8-2

I was referring to Amazon's US page...

I haven't had any luck ordering CDs from Amazon. Seriously, I added 4 different CDs to my cart and none of them could be shipped to 'Mericuh...
I'll try with this CD though as well...
WHAT? IT WORKED FINALLY FOR ONCE!!!!
Meh, shipping is 2000 yen more than the item itself...
I wanna buy a couple of things to hopefully drop the price before plopping down a bunch of cash on a porn game soundtrack...

Everything Amazon.co.jp sells can be shipped to the USA, as long as it's not a third party vendor. Look out for that when you're adding the item to the cart.

Also, that postage isn't expensive...

Whoops commas are important... I meant to say 2000 yen, more than the cost of the item... >_<
Hmm... Then why can't I have this shipped???

Edit: I think it's because Co.Jp marks the soundtracks as CD-ROM games...
Wonder if Amazon customer service speaks English?

Enjoy. Ships everywhere with SAL, which is totally budget.

But the problem is that they don't have the saya soundtrack that I can find... It would be much cheaper if both items were available at one place or the other, so that I wouldn't end up having to pay $30+ for shipping a couple albums across the pacific ocean... I'm considering buying them anyway though. Depends on how much more money I feel like throwing down on physical media. I just spent $55 on 17 albums, including 5 of Utada's albums, and I wanna start saving up for an upgrade/side grade from my Hd600s... Ah, decisions...
Oh, and also, rightstuf is having good sales on Some stuff right now, I was thinking of picking up air and kanon for $25, but I'm gonna wait out the next 8 days of the sale to see if what I really want (clannad+steins gate) go on sale as well so I can get free shipping.
Also, 1000 posts! Woohoo!

Finally got around to watching Hidamari Honeycomb today, I must say that while the formula never changes even though it's on its fourth season running, it still is as relaxing to watch as ever

dat wideface!

Now that I have a Nexus 7 and not forced to watch anime only at my desk, I can continue with Minami-ke, which is kind of awkward since the seiyuu for Kana is a shovel-crazy, OCD yandere in another anime.

Sounds like a terrific idea. I am considering on purchasing either a new 46" LED panel television for my living room and moving the current living room 40" LCD panel to my bedroom to watch anime on. The only thing I feel is the issue is that a 40" panel looks large in the bedroom. Maybe a 32" panel would be better? Either way, it's much better than sitting at a desk.

Destroysall.

Am I the only one that still prefers watching TV/Anime on my 42" plasma with 5.1 surround sound over my iPad with iems?
Also, I ordered clannad and clannad after story for $64 shipped on sale:D
