God I love Toradora. Surely one of my top anime rom/coms of all time. I don't think Toradora gets enough credit. It's rated high alright, but I think the show is far smarter than your typical romantic comedy. It's well written that's for sure.

Agreed. The subjects they touched were very mature at times, and wasn't just some other Romantic Comedy/High School anime. I was rooting for Taiga from the get go. She is one of the most adorable characters ever created. I'd put ToraDora very high up there, almost reaching Kare Kano status, as an anime that does many things well, and not just comedy.

I liked Toradora a lot too.  I sometimes felt that the serious turns caught me a little off-guard and made the flow difficult at times, but I can respect what they were doing and aesthetically I think the drama juxtaposed well with the comedy.  It was also interesting to me because the situations that they were dealing with weren't really that far out there, and given the extreme natures of the characters they could have made it  a lot less plausible.

Okay, so is anyone following the Naruto anime? I skip the fillers like they're the black plague, but apparently the lass spurt of fillers was only like 6-7 episodes. Here I was thinking it'd be another 20-40 something  episodes of nonsense again. So I think the past like 12 episodes from 153 to current is non-filler? DAMN THEM! People need to tell me!

But it's good when it's good... it's just that so much of it has to be littered with nonsensical filler that just makes people hate it so much. It's a pain to find lists that tell you which is filler and which isn't. I just found one though...
