Another Toronto/GTA meet?

It'd be my first time to a meet, late November would be awesome, just after I finish all my projects, right before exams.

I'll see what I can do about arranging one, it would likely be the Sunday November 21st.  There will be no admission fee, but as the room costs $75 to rent, I'll see what I can do about raffling off a DIY build to pay for the room.

I would definitely be interested in attending!  I had to miss the last one because it was a holiday for my religion, but there's nothing like that for me in November!

!  I'll bring along my Hifiman 602 and the RSA Mustang I'm excited about getting!  Oh, and my HF2's if I can find a way to bring them.

I'll be packing light: most of my (meager collection of) IEMs, and one of DT770/600, HF2, or DT880/32 (if I haven't sold them off yet). Won't be bringing the KICAS or DM, as it'll be a pain to drag it back and forth from Waterloo on a Greyhound.

FallenAngel,
Why don't we all chip in a little. Right now we have quite a few interests so I think about 10 bucks each isn't too much.

I've done 3 DIY raffles so far to pay for meet space, all a nice success at raising funds for the room.  With only a $75 room cost (11 tickets at $5 each covers it), people don't need to pay for entry, might as well just a chance to win something too.

cobaltmute & ujamerstand - no chassis necessary, but don't stick your fingers in.

I love the idea of the DIY raffle. I could really use a new piece of kit to play with, and would love to examine a DIY. Any thoughts on what you might build?
