Sometime around last year we heard some voices that they seek a more affordable tribrid option from us since the announcement of Blessing 2, so on today morning, we are coming up with this "dream come true" thing, The VARIATION.


Like our Blessing 2, the variation is equipped with a stainless steel faceplate and complex 3D printed hybrid acoustic structure. But we are replacing the glossy resin and brushed metal into lower profile matte finish and sanded patterns.
(Which means no more waifu engravings...we are sorry)

Here's some of our own measurements:

This is highly consistent with our designate VDSF target for VARIATIONS. It was based on the diffuse field HRTF of B&K HATS and room reverberation curve.

The phase distortion through the audible spectrum, consistent just like our other stuff...

Non linear distortion measurements, everything is controlled under 1%

A condensed specification graph.
But info are just info...We know you guys don't just count the drivers...

Since the introduction of our flagship dynamic IEM, The Illumination, we are adding quick switch adapters to our IEMs. Choose between 2.5mm TRRS, 3.5mm single end and 4.4mm balanced with respect of your DAP
(These are PCOCC copper cables, don't be too eager to replace them! Unless you have a bluetooth cable waiting...)

The FR Chart says that these IEMs are balanced, but the FR chart alone won't determine that. Will anyone step up to the plate to confirm the FR chart?

How large are the shells compared to Blessing 2? Unfortunately, Blessing 2 shells were somewhat too large for my ears.

yes, there's a small vent on faceplate just like blessing2.

The bass shell of the Blessing2 is there in the Variations. The S8 has a more neutral bass. It’s overall warmer than the S8. The soundstage of the S8 is further, like 8th row, the the Variation is like 3rd row. Overall the two sound quite different, full vs accurate. The mids is very nice, I would say it’s the highlight of the IEM, balanced, full, detailed and lively. No shouty upper mids to my ears. Overall, a musical sounding iem.
