This is surely a stupid question, but honestly, I'm completely puzzled...
I want a DAC to put between the optical out of an Airport Express and the stereo RCA ins on my amp. The NFB-12 appears perfect for the job, except that looking at pictures of the front and back of the thing, I see no outs except for the headphone jack and two coax terminals labeled "DAC out." My amp doesn't speak coax, and the fella at Pacific Valve told me the only analog out is through the headphone jack. That has to be wrong, but I sure can't figure out the alternative given the layout of the device.
So, someone please help a moron out: Can/how can the analog signal coming out of the NFB-12 be routed into an amp? Is there some cool coax-to-RCA thing that I've just never heard of?
Thanks in advance for any info.
