They still think it's the old days when you couldn't even bring a camera or a phone into the venue. Now the only thing they search you for is guns, knives and food. They don't want you to kill anyone or avoid buying a $7 beer.

The old days as you put it were considerably more civilized from an attendee's point of view. Then the "Pics or it didn't happen" generation showed up and brought their tenuous grasp of self identity with them necessitating endless tweets and camera phone pics.

My bandwidth gently weeps.

i8? Yikes. Also, May doesn't like much of a challenge when driving, so the LaFerrari is right up his alley. heh

Wait, wait, wait - Clarkson picked the Z06?? An American car??

He has a secret love for the vette that started with the C6, he chose the ZR1 over the Carrera S once. I can only imagine how chuffed he must be that the new one doesn't rattle like an old washing machine (like all the ones before).

My god this thread is still going on??? Excellent!

Also I knew that Hammond would pick the 918... Granted, I would too, but then again I would also drive a Tesla if I could. They would be mighty fun to mod. But the novelty of a hybrid sports car would grab him from the start. Just like him doing turbo blips through Italy in his Nobel (and promptly blowing the transmission).

Of course we have ideas - but you know the drill: budget? sound signature you are looking for? open or closed?

And: What did you like & dislike about the DT880?

Ouch. I figure you're not in the payment strata though. Then again you could always decal "Magicks Speed and Exotic Emporium" on it and claim a tax write down.

One of the many T50 mods is a pretty logical step up from the 880. Unless you can get your hands on an HP-1.

Well, there's no interest for 6 months and I'll pay it off before the juice starts to run. I simply didn't have it in the budget for this year.

That was going to be my next question regarding interest but tact won out:wink:

Not a bad deal if they spot you for 6 and let you do the buy out with no penalties.

Curiosity has me asking if they have any resale restrictions in the contract ?
