Sam's Club carries a good frozen one, and The Fresh Market (this awesome regional market chain) will make them to order, cooked or uncooked. I get the smaller turducken rolls at The Fresh Market too. They're fresh, wrapped in a baking bag, and ready to go.

I've had the rolls from these guys, and they're good, but it's not the same as a full turducken or quite as good as the rolls from the Fresh Market.

Also - you just informed what I'm eating for Thanksgiving. I had no idea you could buy those pre-made (they're a mess to make at home). Even if I have to have it ordered in, it's worth it.

In California, you can show zero emissions out of the tailpipe, but if the "service engine" light is on in the dash, you will fail your smog check. I once had a vehicle that had a flaky transmission speed sensor that would occasionally throw a fault that made the service light come on. After a few hundred miles (when the computer had overwritten the old data), it would go back off again. I tried to get a smog check done when the service light was on - no go. I came back a week later when the light had gone back off and it passed. It's idiotic. If the lawmakers were ACTUALLY concerned with emissions (and not just with giving a source of revenue to the state and the auto repair industry) the ONLY thing that should matter is the emissions coming out of the tailpipe. If wrapping your tailpipe in magic magnets and unicorn hair made your emissions lower, fine you should pass.
And we have to do this dance every 2 years or when we sell the car...

Yep. Fines and fees as a source of revenue. Welcome to the "free market" :rolleyes:.

What the heck is the deal with AC Cobra replicas selling for $50-60K? That seems ludicrous.

I thought that was about normal? Like don't the normal AC Cobras go for around $100k? (I haven't been in or been near a Cobra since I was too young to drive so I really have no idea) I know the DMC replicas run that $40-$60k range too, so for some reason it doesn't seem that insane to me...

ZIL! That guy's price is INSANE, but yeah I'd drive that. Would also need an unholy amount of paperwork to back up his claims - which I doubt he has, which means it's a deal I want nothing to do with (he wants a million dollars because he says Yeltsin drove it, welp - prove it). But yeah, I'd drive a ZIL. Just for the insanity factor. Weight there is, ehh. My current ride is around 2.5 tons, and I've driven trucks up to 25k GVWR; the size doesn't intimidate me. I think I'd need two though - I would have to prove that despite the Russian's claims, that car can in fact both be flipped over and violated by weapons and thus hijacked. But I wouldn't want to drive it after I went GTA on it.

Every GM I've ever seen has some issue with panel fit or interior trim. While older Lincolns may have panel gaps the size of the grand canyon, they're always "straight" unless they've been wrecked. Even the chopped coaches and lowriders.

IDK, every GM I've seen (including recent ones) just don't feel like they're put together with attention to detail. They're nice, but they feel thrown together. Even newer Chryslers have more satisfying fit and finish, and they're both a mile away from a good old fashioned Lincoln where the doors feel like k-rails.

You have to be willing to spend some serious cash to get an interior that isn't a completely hollow plastic jungle. It's kind of shame, because I think the drivetrains and chassis are actually better than they've ever been - and that's across the brands, both domestic and imported.

Yeah. I will agree with this. And I think GM is the worst when it comes to this - Lincoln at least still tries to drop some wood in here and there (but it isn't like the old-school where you're driving a tree), and Jaguar (at least pre-Tata) wasn't too terrible either. But I'm sick of the faux-leather + plastic/vinyl interior and everything being kind of this homogeneous mono-chromatic nightmare.

I like having very good visibility with a minimum of interference from pillars and roof lines. And yeah, I know that makes all the exotics a problem for me - maybe that's one reason why I like convertibles...

Camaros especially.  I have friends that RAIL against the Camaro's visibility (or lack thereof).

RS4 is a maintenance nightmare. I'd stay away.

What about the ~Y2K Thunderbird? Those are peppy, and I've seen them starting to crop up used. New enough that you don't gotta do major re-tooling but sort of classic looking as well. Or a Vector...
