AMP3 in-depth review (long)

From what I recall, there is no screen. I wonder if it will use the same chip that is used in the AMP3, or since the price is higher, a higher performing chip, or just a better amp section. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as it sounds better

You're probably thinking of the picture that didn't have a screen. I presumed that was an alpha model, not an actual product..

F my life lol.

This doesn't really make any sense to me... if it's not meant to be used as a DAP really, why not just build a dedicated amp? Why add extra cost in memory and and DAC if they are not going to be used? Ahhh...~

if the Studio proved to be a dedicated amp, I like to get the extra freebie of memory and DAP function. why not?

I searched for whiplash but saw no company that offered AMP3 for $160. Can you post more phone and address information Because I was going to get a Cowon S9 till I read the nightmares people have with Cowon tech departments to get problems handled I mean NIGHTMARES!!!!

I want me an AMP3 player because of the service Cowon has not given to so many.

... AMP3 Pro 2 hisoundaudio MP3 player PDAA - AMP3 mp3 Player/Amp - iPod iPhone and MP3 Players

Although if your complaint about the Cowon is that it has bugs/bad service, I'd suggest you rethink getting an Amp3. Or at least wait until a couple people review it and give the ok that the pro1's problems have all been resolved.

I haven't heard it, so I can't say if it's better. But generally anything with a good amplifier is better. External or internal.

I could of ordered an AMP3 Pro2 from a supplier here in the UK but Craig has been such a great person to deal with I decided to stick with him. I tried making contact with the UK supplier concerning the AMP3 Pro2 but they are very slow in answering any questions. Craig on the other hand is like lightening in answering any queries you may have.

Could you say if it has a good reception?
Like, on a bad zone like in the beach, does it play FM nicely compared to others?
I am looking for a good FM DAP, since my sony nwz-616f sucks at it...

Maybe you did a right thing. "hiSound-UK" user has been banned here, posts deleted. Is there any explanation from forum admins for that?
