Hi, I noticed through some channel tests, frequency sweeps and general A/B tests my Maverick Audio A1 has a slight channel imbalance . The left seems to be about 2-3 dB imbalanced from the right. I know it's the amp and not my source as I noticed 0 imbalance on my Audioengine D1, but noticed a significant imbalance when pairing both of them together. Changing Analog in to line in makes no difference, and I'm using a fairly decent set of RCA cables from BJC.
I've also deducted it's not my headphones (He-500 with OCC balanced cable) as I've had the problem with 3 different cans and 1 set of IEM's. Anyone have a solution because changing the channel balance artificially through programs seems to help minimally and I would like to fix this from the source. Thanks!
Also, I can take apart the A1 if I must (again).
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: Problem solved, I just changed the RCA cables to connect to the input on the left instead of the input on the right. Solved it right away!
