I'm not sure if this belongs in the source section or the amp section since it's a bit of both...
 
I'm currently looking at getting a portable amp + dac combo that I can hook up to my laptop to run my Beyer DT990 250ohm phones. It doesn't have to be the tiniest of amps as it is more 'transportable' than 'portable'.... but would definately like something that can run of batteries or usb power.
 
I am currently looking at the range from iBasso, but am unsure if they are powerful enough to run the DT990 250 ohms.
 
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same headphones as you and I run them off a Meier Corda 3Move. I think it's a very nice sounding combo. In the For Sale/Trade forum you often see this amp/dac going for a good price. I have no experience with iBasso though.
