Hmm! very interesting plugs with screwthread! Such plugs with 2 contacts or like JH XLR plugs with 4 contacts? Do Ambient Acoustics lab provide options with setup such plugs on other cables?

With 2 contacts, no need in 4 contacts in their IEMs.
Actually, they've released very interesting lineup of IEMs with tunable sound (using small switches), it's called LAM, and it's pretty popular in exUSSR.

Hope to get their LAM 7 soon and share impressions

I can't find any information about them. Do they provide such plugs for DIY cables? Or maby I can buy such plugs at other web sources? Plugs with sqrewthread are very interesting  and as for me they are more reliable then 2-pin plugs or MMCX plugs. I would like to try them

I think they can change connectors on your cable, if you'll send it to them. But this question is better to ask at their support, to get 100% correct answer

Such plugs are 2-contacts plugs(one on "screwthread", second on central pin), not 4 contacts like JH  XLR plugs.Only Ambient Acoustics lab provide such plugs on detachable cords manufacturing by AA.This is unique development by lab. Also Ambient Acoustics can provide adapters from MMCX and 2-pin sockets to plugs with screwthread or you can send to them You cord and they make plugs with screwthread on it!

Does someone know if the measurements at ambient-acoustics' website are uncompensated or not and which smoothing was applied. The AM5's measurement looks very promising.

it is measerments by IEC711 coupler at reference plane and smoothing 1/6 octave
