Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for foam eartips similar to olives? I really liked that they lasted a long time, were made of a relatively dense foam that provided a lot of noise isolation, and produced a nice sound signature with my Sony MH1C IEMs. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Mostly interested in foam eartips, but if there are hybrids or silicone tips people recommend I am open to trying something different.

Sonicfoam is what I use, they come in like 5 different sizes with charts on their amazon listing. They're dense like a marshmallow and block outside noise well. They last a while as long as you don't clean them with solvent like an alcohol wipe. A q tip with water works for me on foam tips. For silicone I use Dunu S&S tips since they have 1-2mm longer length if fitment is an issue (like stock tips being too shallow to stay in).

Thanks. I ordered a few Sonicfoam a few weeks ago and have them on hand, and am waiting on Dunu S&S and a few other silicone tips to try. My first impression of the Sonicfoam is they aren't as good as olives but may be the closest thing to them presently available. Does anyone know why Shure discontinued them?

I need L or XL tips, and I used Olives when I had Shures. If the nozzles aren't too thin you could try Penon Liqueur silicones: Orange for more clarity -- that's what I use -- and Black for more warmth.
