As a proud owner of a Q701, I'm very curious and this announcement is more than interesting.
But I find the poster arrogant and almost aggressive.
And rather disrespectful toward Sennheiser and other top manufacturers.
Comparing well-established brands to other well-established brands and kinda depreciate their products is... well,.. pretty immature and not really credible.

  There's no way they will sound like the K1000...and i doubt they will sound as good as the HD800...

 
AKG doesn't design any of their flagships. I don't think they have the infrastructure set up to design a high end headphone anymore.

Nomax why didn't you tell us the name?  Where are you getting you're information from? At this point it's just vague spam about AKG that doesn't actually contain any information at all.  K812 huh can't wait to see pictures/impressions at release.
