A quite basic question, but I am unaware of the advantages or disadvantages of each. I began my "audiophile" journey with the Dt880 premium 250 ohm, but decided to return those after I found them too laid back and boring for me. I'm now looking into buying either of the two above. My cousin purchased the Dt990 pros and I quite enjoyed them and that sound signature, but found it too exaggerated for me.

I really enjoy just being able to call my headphones a planar magnetic designed headphone, but quality wise I do not know which would be better. As for amps, I plan on getting a Schiit Magni fairly soon in the future. Price, they're very similar, so there are no advantages there. Biggest thing for me is:
#1: Which has more detailed / quantity bass
#2: Which is more comfortable
#3: Which has a more similar sound signature to the Dt990's, but a more forward midrange than the Dt990's
#4: Which would suit most genres, excluding things like classical / jazz.

Thanks! If any more information is needed, I will reply very quickly with anything you need to help me out.
