I got my pair from that seller (Bestseller21) a few weeks ago and never had any problems. They do have a very short return limit though. Only 14 days. I miss the days when they were only $200-$220! I still can't figure out why on earth they regularly sell for $400. Totally not worth it (to me), but still good. AKG pricing is so screwy in the USA.
 
You can see a K240 Studio for $99 and then another headphone with the same driver is $250+?!

I believe he is referring to the K242, which is the "fashion-forward" (but functionally identical) version of the K240.
