Understood, but just trying to help!

There's no drama like headphone drama. Of all the inconsequential nonsenses...

Good point there really is nothing more funny then fights over the internet

That's not hypocritical. It's indeed an added element of rational criticism, I dare say.

Just buy one, and then see for yourself whether my previously warned "interdependence of form and function" makes any kind of sense or is just philosophical mumbo-jumbo.

Well you can always custom paint them yourself.

However, I thought that posting my opinion on this headphone, given my almost insanely zealous defense of the Sennheiser lineup, might be of interest to some.

Well, at least now we can look forward to more irrational defenses of the K701.

Headroom amps are decent... but 'mind-blowingly ahead'? Gimmie a break.

Any chance of recabling these in a balanced configuration? That's the only thing holding me back from checking them out.... that and the fact that I couldn't stand the K1000 for the time I had them.

You don't even need to recable them, each channel already has a seperate ground wire. So just hack off the 1/4" and solder on some XLR's. Of course you could always still recable them if you wish.

You've obviously never seen my work with fingerpaint. I'm not very good.

Let's see. We have "old enemies," hype, drama, constant revelations, and sexy females (on our Avatar). It's a regular daytime soap program!!
