Hi I've found a couple ebay postings, which to me seem like they're geniune. Just wanted to get others opinions on this.

I have genuinely bought from this guy. I got the AKG-412P's as a Chrissy Pressie for my other half thinking even if they were fake it's not a great loss of money at £25.
 
The box they came in was a bit battered and there is no documentation with them. Fearing the worst I gave them a test drive and they blew my socks off - they are sensational. I have some decent - Klipsch in ear headphones and some Denon closed back headphones - both of which cost me a touch less than £100 each and these 'AKG's' blow them away.
 
I've just ordered myself a pair and even if they are not real - which I really doubt - they are worth every penny. I can't vouch for the ones you are after and I don't have a clue why they are so cheap. They took about 3 weeks to come, so be patient, but my advice would be to go for it.

As there's a ton of thread "real/fake" about the AKG K450, I think that I'll simply recycle this one.

Beware that todays' fakes are extremely close to their real counterparts but, despite this, the differences between a good and a fake one are well known.

In the unfortunate case that buy them and then I found that the aforementioned headphone is fake, am I eligible for a full refund?

erm.. i know this post is quite old.. but is akg having a sale? on amazon.co.uk the k450 is selling for £42.9 UK (about U$D 67.5 with shipping?) Sold by caraudiosecurityuk and Fulfilled by Amazon....
