[Ruffle]

Now I'm looking for a closed pair.  Thinking of AKG.  I'm having a hard time understanding the differences between these two.
 
I don't care about the difference in detachable cable or appearances.  Can someone with experience with these AKG explain the sonic differences or any other notable differences?

i would recommend the K271 so that you can roll some big fat juicy cables that will blow your mind

Ruffle,

.  K271 is for pro use and the K272 is for consumer/hi-fi use.  there are no sonic differences between the two.  although, my K702 sound darker than the porcelain white K701
