Listening to an old pair of K240 Monitor Gold cans I had in a drawer, with an RSA SR71 amp. I don't remember them sounding this good. Highs are rolled off, mids are warm and up front, bass is punchy as hell, and I can actually feel bass guitar string plucks like they are hitting my ear. I guess I would call them old fashioned sounding as I'm used to a much brighter presentation from newer can, but they are really not bad at all. I may try to recable them.
 
Edit: these were my first good cans that I rescued from a Borders' garbage can at a listening station. The plug was broken. I realized I never really gave them a chance with a good amp.
